Ms. Malecki joined Oaktree in 2001 after spending about four years as a Senior Consultant at Bain & Company. Her previous work experience, all of which was in consulting, included three years with the New Zealand Trade Board and a year at TRW. Ms. Malecki graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in International Relations from Tufts University and received an M.S. degree in Foreign Service and an M.A. degree in Economic History from Georgetown University. Before graduate school, Ms. Malecki studied in Kuwait as a Fulbright Scholar and taught English in Poland. She is a CFA charterholder.
