Alessandro Palin

Mr. Palin is a senior advisor to Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He advises the team on strategic growth opportunities in the power, utility and energy sectors, investment decisions, as well as helping management teams accelerate the growth of their businesses.  Mr. Palin has more than 30 years of industry experience and spent 27 years with ABB, including his role as President of ABB Distribution Solutions from 2017 to 2023.  He received a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Trieste in Italy.  Mr. Palin is fluent in Italian.
