Andrew Dyer

Mr. Dyer is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He is involved in all aspects of the group’s investment activities, including identifying potential investment opportunities, executing transactions and portfolio company oversight.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2025, Mr. Dyer was a director at Baird Capital where he managed deal origination, evaluation, execution, active portfolio management and exits for businesses within the industrial technology and services sectors, with a focus on energy transition and sustainability themes.  Before that, he was an associate director at Clearwater where he provided buyside and sell-side M&A and debt advisory services to owner-managed businesses and private equity houses.  Mr. Dyer began his career with roles at EY and Anglo American.  He received a B.Sc. (hons) in economics from the University of Warwick and is a Chartered Accountant.
