Andrew Osler

Mr. Osler is a senior advisor in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He helps the GFI Energy Group identify and invest in leading companies well positioned to take advantage of attractive growth opportunities in the power, utility and energy sectors.  Mr. Osler currently serves on the boards of Priority Power Management, and Universal Plant Services.  He has previously served on numerous boards of GFI Energy portfolio companies including Infrastructure & Energy Alternatives (NASDAQ: IEA), LineSoft, NORESCO, Smart Systems, Ten K Solar, The Kirlin Group, UtiliQuest, and Vac One Services.  From 2009 to 2020, Mr. Osler served as a managing director in the GFI Energy Group.  Mr. Osler has spent his entire career in the energy industry and has worked with the other investment professionals of GFI Energy for most of the past 30 years.  Mr. Osler began his career as a consultant with Venture Associates, the utility consulting firm started by the founders of GFI Energy.  In addition, he worked for McKinsey & Co. and Enron Capital & Trade before joining GFI Energy in 1999.  Mr. Osler received a B.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
