Edward Han
Managing Director
Mr. Han is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, he worked at OCP Asia as a senior portfolio manager and managing director focusing on formulating and executing the business strategy for Greater China. Prior thereto, he built and led the special situations business as a senior partner and managing director at China Orient Summit Capital, an asset management company partially owned by China Orient AMC. Mr. Han’s experience also includes roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in the Global Real Assets group, Mapletree Investments, J.P. Morgan Global Special Opportunities group and China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp. He received a B.Sc. degree in urban and regional planning from Nanjing University, his M.A. in real estate, urban planning and geographic information systems from the University of Florida and an M.Sc. in real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Han is a native Mandarin speaker.
