Ross Rosenfelt

Mr. Rosenfelt is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Los Angeles, focusing on legal matters related to restructuring activities. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, he was with Sculptor Capital Management (formerly Och-Ziff Capital Management Group) as a managing director in the Corporate Credit Group specializing in the analysis of distressed corporate and sovereign securities. Before that, Mr. Rosenfelt was with BlackRock financial Management / R3 Capital Partners as a director within the Distressed Products and Special Situations Group. He began his career with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as an associate in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice before moving on to investment professional vice president roles in the Distressed Products Group at Deutsche Bank Securities and subsequently in the Global Principal Strategies division at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Rosenfelt received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the State Bar of New York.
