Dylan Petre

Mr. Petre is a vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy.  He currently serves on the board of Energy Systems Group and is a board observer of ITG Communications and System One.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2021, Mr. Petre was an associate at Industrial Growth Partners, where he was responsible for evaluating, executing and supporting investments in the energy, utility, and industrials sectors.  Mr. Petre began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Global Industrials group at Robert W. Baird & Co.  He received a B.S. in business administration with a double major in finance, and economics and strategy, from Washington University in St. Louis.
